Happy new year!
I hope all is going well into this new year, that I hope will bring you a lot of joy. Last year offered a lot of challenges for many, both personally and economically. It is easy to let yourself get distracted and focus only on the negative, but if you are anything like me, you keep looking forward. Because forward is where we are going, each and everyone.
A new year brings hope for something better. We keep looking forward and hope that the future is filled with joy and positivity. It is joy that I wish to convey through this newsletter. To show you all the beautiful things Lofoten has to offer and to maybe get you daydream a little, and that that will get you distracted from all the daily stress and worries. Lofoten is to me freedom, magnificent nature, lovely people and stress free.
Even the sun is showing up again after a month of complete darkness – we are moving towards a brighter time ahead. Maybe that's a sign that the coming months will be better?
I also want to tell you about a new place I recently discovered in Lofoten, named Kollvika. A beautiful place to bring family, children and friends. It's only a short 30-minute walk and the hike goes along the seaside.
The last hike I went on made it nearly impossible to see anything because of heavy rain and strong winds – but it didn't discourage me, it was actually quite nice because it made me feel more alive. Such situations only make you feel that you are fully living – don't you agree?
When you first arrive you are met by a beautiful little sandy beach with a beautiful view. There's even a barbecue spot, where you and your closest can enjoy yourself. And naturally it's obligatory to have a swim when you are in Lofoten – it's quite refreshing to swim in everything from 2 celsius to 16 celsius, depending on what time of the year.
But now it's time to end this newsletter, so that you can go back to whatever you were doing before.
I want to thank you for following my newsletters – it means a lot to me, and if there is anything you especially want to hear about from Lofoten, please feel free to let me know.
In the next newsletter I will tell you about all the exciting things I have been up to recently, and you will of course be presented to another new pearl in Lofoten that should be explored.
Have a great week and take care of yourself!
